Episode 9: It’s My Birthday! Meet My Mom, Enid Kent Sperber!

I turn 40 tomorrow, May 20th.

My mom asked me what I wanted to do.

I decided that I wanted to record a podcast with her.

So I did.

I have some shouts out to some folks in here that inspired me to become who I am. Check it out.

But to be honest, every guest that is on here inspires the hell out of me.

My mom, Enid Kent Sperber, is amazing & I love her. I hope you enjoy this episode.

Archivist’s Alley will be back in June with Pride Month!

  1. I know your mother from watching MASH on television. I loved her character Lt. Bigelow. I am still an avid fan of the show and while I especially prefer the first 3 seasons, I look forward to season 5 because that is when your mom became semi regular on the show. I enjoy seeing her appearances on other programs so that I can further enjoy and appreciate her different performances.

Is there a way that I can write her, whether snail mail or email (snail preferred). I have a friend that runs a celebrity convention in New Jersey and can speak with him about having her make an appearance in October or April. I met Loretta Swit there in October 2018 and have continued staying in touch with her since then. I was really impressed how nice Loretta was, as a person. Really down to earth, approachable. I’ve always imagined your mother to be like that.

I recently lost my mom following a 2 year battle with pancreatic cancer. Please wish your mother a Very Happy Mother’s Day from me. Thanks.

    Warmest regards,

    Bill Aronson

  2. Your grandmother was a prolific actress in numerous television shows while I was growing up. Tonight watching late night t.v. “Emergency” your Nana was on the show. As soon as I saw her, I had to find the cast list and one thing led to another and that is how I ended up listening to you and your Mom. Your so fortunate to have your Nana, may she rest in peace. I know she is so very proud of you and is looking down saying that’s my girl, Ariel! Thank you for letting me share.
